This year during Advent, I will be taking a break from my Systematic Theology series to spend some time reflecting on the most foundational creed statement that Christianity has to offer. This Creed, which comes out of the Council of Constantinople in 381 (not the Council of Nicaea in 325) has served as an essentially unchanged faith statement for every branch of Christianity for nearly 1600 years.
The Creed is divided into three main sections, for the purpose of this series I will be treating the final section as two sections.
I will be posting each section the Monday after each Sunday in Advent. Look for the first post later today.
